An election taking place in the summer? For many people, especially seniors, arranging the time and transportation needed to vote in a special election – such as the one being held on Tuesday, June 25 for the US Senate – can be taxing by limited mobility or the lack of transportation to the polls which are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  For those voters, the Belmont League of Women Voters is here to assist them. League volunteers will drive voters from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to their local precinct to make their selections on Tuesday. Call 617-771-8500 or <a href="mailto:Rides@BelmontLWV.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">e-mail</a>, Rides@BelmontLWV.org , to schedule a ride.
