• January 09 2026 Public Notices (belmontvoice.org) — Belmont’s Planning Board will hold a hybrid public hearing on January 20 to consider a special permit and design/site plan for a new two-family home at 41R Holt Street in the General Residence district. Residents can attend at Town Hall or via Zoom, with application materials and access details available on the town website. 
• Consultant: Rink Rates Within Range With Other Towns (belmontvoice.org) — Belmont’s new municipal ice rink rates have been confirmed by a consultant to be in line with other communities, but officials still face big unknowns about operating costs and revenue. The Select Board and town administrator say they’ll hold current peak-season prices through 2026 while they gather data, aiming to keep the rink as close to revenue-neutral as possible for taxpayers.
