Accident on the Exit
July 9 – At 8:49 a.m., two cars were exiting Route 2 on exit 59. The Medford driver of a 1993 Toyota was following very close to a 2003 VW drive by another Medford driver. At the end of the ramp, the VW stopped but the Toyota didn't follow suit quickly enough. The Toyota driver was cited.
Noise in the Bushes

July 9 – At 10:02 a.m., officers arrived at a Skahan Road residency where the occupant heard some noise coming from the bushes. Police checked it area and found nothing there. The woman said the unknown person was possibly attempting to enter the house through the basement windows.

July 9 – At 11:24 a.m., a Scituate man was adding information into his GPS while driving at the corner of Lexington and Trapelo when he "blew through the red light" and struck a Saab. The man was cited for not paying attention to his surroundings.
Suspect Breaking into Family's Car
July 10 – At 1:21 a.m., a call into the police station from a Horace Road resident who said a white man in his late teens wearing a T-shirt and a baseball cap was apparently attempting to break into the family's car. When the resident yelled for the man to "get away from my car", the suspect ran in the direction of a dark sedan, possibly a BMW.
Placed into Protective Custody
July 10 – At 3:13 a.m., police were sent to investigate a suspicious person in the Wellesley Road area. Officers found the man who said he was looking find a friend but didn't know his friend's names. He was placed into productive custody.
GPS Stolen
July 10 – At 6:01 a.m., police were sent to Evergreen Way for a possible theft. They arrived to find the owner of a 2006 Honda Civic saying she left the car unattended for a mere five minutes at which time someone stole the GPS system worth $400.
No Evidence of Theft
July 10 – At 8:15 p.m. a Waltham woman riding the bus into Belmont told police that a large woman in her late 60s sitting behind her stole some clothes she had placed in a bag. Police confront a Boston woman who reportedly stole the items but officers could not find any evidence on her. What was reported stolen? Dance clothes.
