Book sale at the Library
The Friends of the Belmont Public Library's annual fall book sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Belmont Public Library, 336 Concord Ave. The sale is held in the Library's Flett and Assembly rooms. Belmont Open Sings returns with Mozart's Mass in C minor on Sunday, Oct 17, 7:30 p.m. at Payson Park Church, 365 Belmont St. Artistic Director Mary Beekman, who is also director of Musica Sacra, leads singers and a professional-level orchestra in this fun event. Vocal scores are provided. Best of all, first-timers are welcome and no registration is required.
