5 Things (Happy Halloween!) To Start the Day: Oct. 31

Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Happy Halloween! Trick or treating will take place tonight from 5-8 p.m. Be sure to show us of your costume! The winner of Patch's Halloween costume contest will win $5000! Click here to add your photo. 

2. Did you got to Beverly Main Streets Trick or Treating last night? Add your photos to our gallery here. 

3. Endicott College's Safe Trick or Treat Night was postponed from Monday to Thursday, Nov. 1. Families will meet at the Field House at 6 p.m. for a party with food, games, and crafts. Trick-or-Treating will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the event ending at 8:00 PM.  All children who bring a canned food item for the College’s Halloween for the Hungry Food Drive will receive a special treat.  

4. Don't forget to stock up your candy for trick-or-treaters tonight! Check out the Beverly Police Department's list of safety tips for Halloween night.

5. Trick or treat weather: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southwest wind around 8 mph.
