5 Things (Instagram) to Start the Day: Oct. 16

1. Stop by Montserrat College of Art's Bear Gallery tonight for their "Illustration & Animation Show." It features works by current students & alumni who majored in Illustration or Animation. Learn more here.

3. Tonight Clark School in Danvers is hosting its annual North Shore Preschool Fair at Monkey Joe's, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Visit with local area preschools and get answers to any questions you might have, as well as local vendors exhibiting their products and services, bouncy houses, snacks, games and more. The event is free and open to the public, and children are welcome. 

4. Making weekend plans? New York Times Bestselling Author Michael Thompson will be speaking at a fundraiser at An Autumn Evening Fundraising Event at Project Adventure. Learn more about the event here.
