1. Angie Miller goes verified! It turns out the American Idol star has a new Twitter account, in part because of all the fake ones springing up as she becomes better-known. 2. Program for newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients: An eight-session educational/support program for individuals newly diagnosed with breast cancer will begin tonight at Beverly Hospital at Danvers Breast Center [480 Maple Street, Danvers]. Sessions are held on the first and third Monday beginning at 7 p.m. To register or for further information, click here.

4. Panther Ice Hockey Upset in Playoffs: In case you haven't already heard, the Beverly High boys hockey team . The Panthers' season came to an end on a Falcon goal with 11 seconds left.
