Here are five things to start your day in Beverly:

1. Hope everyone had fun trick or treating last night! Be sure to add your photos from the evening to our gallery.

2. Starting today, Rapid Refill/VERC on Route 128 North in Beverly will be teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association for the month of November to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer cause. If you go to Rapid Refill, don't forget to ask about the Purple Pump Up campaign.

4. Happy November! The month, home to Thanksgiving and Veterans Day, comes from the Latin word novem, meaning nine. Originally in the Gregorian calendar November was the ninth month, starting with March, but when January and February were added, November was bumped back to the eleventh month. November's flower is the Chrysanthemum and the birthstone is topaz.
