8 Columbus Day Weekend Arrests

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log:
Friday, Oct. 5
- At 10:59 a.m. police arrested Eric Beier, 42, of Rantoul Street on warrant charges.
- At 4:35 p.m. police were called to Rantoul Street on report of a 'woman doing drugs in house with kids.' Police arrested Kristina Bishop, 23, on two warrant charges.
- At 5:17 p.m. police were called to Medford Street on report of two boys going through yards. The kids in question told police they were feeding the cat of a family on vacation.
- At 7:21 p.m. police were called to Cross Lane on report of a suspicious vehicle. Police arrested James Abate, 19, of Hudson Street in Marblehead, and Alexander Traicoff, 19, of Wenworth Drive, on charges of liquor possession under 21.
- A possible drug transaction at Burger King was reported at 8:32 p.m.
- At 8:59 p.m. police arrested Scott Huntley, 47, of Windsor Road., on charges of assault, assault and battery, trespassing, and vandalizing property. Reports stated Huntley kicked down a door at a Chase Street residence.
Saturday, Oct. 6

- Police were called to Conant Street on report of a sick raccoon at 9 a.m. The raccoon was euthanized.
- A vehicle was reported vandalized on Rantoul Street at 11:16 a.m.
- Police were called to Shaw's on report of a shoplifter at 8:21 p.m. The alleged shoplifter ran out of the store before police arrived.
- A possible boat theft involving two juveniles was reported at 9:18 p.m. on River Street.
Sunday, Oct. 7
- A fight was reported on Rantoul Street at 12:53 a.m. Police arrested Benjamin Jones, 33, of Pleasant Street, on charges of disorderly conduct.
- A group of kids were reportedly ringing a West Dane Street residence's doorbell several times around 1:15 a.m.
- Police were called to a West Street residence on report of a loud house party with more than 100 kids present at 1:21 a.m. Police said most had left before their arrival, but they were advised on the noise ordinance.
- A pedestrian/car accident was reported on Elliott Street at 4:15 p.m.
- At 7:55 p.m. police arrested Peter Caruso, 29, of New Balch Street, on warrant charges.
Monday, Oct. 8

- Police were called to a loud party on Silver Court, with more than 100 Endicott students and a 'large amount of liquor visible' at 12:18 a.m. The students who rent the property were advised of penalties if police were called back to the residence.
- An unwanted guest was reported on Herrick Street at 12:34 a.m. Police arrested Nicholas Meserve, 19, listed as homeless, on two warrant charges, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
- Police were called to Hillcrest Avenue at 11:07 a.m. on report of two dogs that had attacked one another.
