Bar Culture Art Show Comes to The Cabot

BEVERLY, MA – Andrew Bablo hopes he doesn't get thrown out of his own art show, but given the subject matter you could chalk any incidents up to performance art.

Bablo, of Steez Design, is the artist behind "Hair of The Dog," an upcoming art show at The Cabot on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. The show is a reflection of Bablo's experience in dive bars around the country, and features satire and other surprises.

The collection is all-new work focusing on bar rats, beer drinkers, and other riff raff, per the news release on the show. Bablo said attendees can have a laugh or two at the work while eating free crackers a Cheez Whiz.

Last call is at 9 p.m. at The Cabot.
