Officer prevents Natural Light beer sale and other items from the Beverly Police Log.

- An officer intervened when a clerk at a Rantoul Street business was about to sell a Natural Light beer to a person showing signs of intoxication on Monday night.
- Police assisted a man who got off the commuter rail at the wrong depot on Monday around 11 p.m. – he was taken back to Salem Depot.
- An elderly man was walking in the road on Brimbal Avenue Tuesday afternoon, and was transported back to Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers where he resides.
- Three men were allegedly harassing customers and employees at a Rantoul Street pharmacy on Tuesday around 7 p.m. Officers dispersed the group.
- Officers attempted to get an animal out of a basement on Nelson Avenue around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, but were unable to do so.
- A mailbox was reportedly removed from a wall on Ocean Street on Wednesday morning.
- Officers responded to a Cabot Street residence on a report of loud banging coming from the third floor on Thursday around 3 a.m. They found a man playing videos games got a little loud, but he told police he was done playing for the night.
- Police responded to a loud explosion and strong smell of gas at Haskell Street and Goodwin Road on Thursday around 8 a.m.
