Beverly Construction Update Into 2017

Remember the traffic on Cabot Street this summer? This is nothing.

BEVERLY, MA – The latest project updated for the Route 1A reconstruction project has drainage installations scheduled between Home and Federal streets until mid-January.

Here is the latest update, bearing in mind that some projects were postponed until spring 2017.

From Monday, Dec. 19, to Friday, Dec. 23:

  • Install cobble strips between Railroad Avenue and Broadway
  • Install drainage between Bow Street and Wallis Street
  • Raise water gate boxes in the areas in Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4A
  • (End of the week) Install drainage on Cabot Street from Gloucestery Crossing to Lenox Street

From Monday, Dec. 26, to Friday, Dec. 30:

  • Install cobble strips between Railroad Avenue and Broadway
  • Raise water gate boxes in the areas in Phases 1, 2, 3, and 4A
  • Install drainage on Cabot Street from Gloucester Crossing to Lenox Street
  • Fill tree pits in Phase 1 and 2
  • Install drainage between Home Street and Federal Street

From Monday, Jan. 2, to Friday, Jan. 6:
