Beverly Dive Team Responds For Active Search In Essex Bridge Area

UPDATE: 12:30 p.m. Thursday

BEVERLY, MA — A dive team responded along with an extensive presence from Beverly police and fire crews to the area of the Essex Bridge early Wednesday night, according to Beverly police.

Police said emergency services responders were participating in an active search at about 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

"There is no danger to the public," police said.

Beverly police told Patch there was no new information they could provide as of Thursday morning.
