Beverly Downtown Parking Changes Coming In May: What To Know

There are some parking changes beginning in downtown Beverly that residents and visitors should know about starting on May 1.

BEVERLY, MA — Several changes to downtown Beverly parking will begin on May 1, including the creation of a new "Waterfront Zone" that includes waterfront parking and on-street parking on lower Cabot Street.

The rate for the new Waterfront Zone will be $1 per hour.

Changes are also coming to the Red, Green and Blue zones.

The Red Zone will go from a four-hour parking zone to a two-hour parking zone with Summit Avenue West being added to the Red Zone.

The Green Zone will be $1 per hour — currently, the first 20 minutes are free — and will now encompass the former Purple Zone areas of River Street and Margin Street.

The Blue Zone parking lots are now all 50 cents per hour.
