Beverly Farms Group Searches For Additional Leadership

The Beverly Farms Improvement Society is seeking candidates for leadership positions.

BEVERLY, MA – The Beverly Farms Improvement Society is seeking new board members. The charitable volunteer organization was incorporated sixty years ago, and is dedicated to preserving and improving the Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing communities.

According to Wendy A. Drinkwater, President of BFIS, is looking to fill the vacant seats of Treasurer and Secretary. Additional board members are sought to "drive and execute" fundraising efforts for the organization, which has accomplished projects like improving Dix Park, maintaining the library's pergola pathway, and upkeeping the War Memorial Fountain. Interested community members can reach Drinkwater at wendydrinkwater@comcast.net. They're also looking for residents, building owners, and merchants to volunteer time for upcoming projects

The Society also published a quarterly flyer about the town. The Summer edition is available here. The most recent project includes a fundraiser of $40,000.00 to upgrade the Firehouse with new furniture, paint, and new flooring.
