Beverly Farms Cafe Enters Final 2 Weeks Before Closing For Good

Half Baked Cafe ownership said in June that the breakfast and goodie shop would close its Beverly location on Oct. 30.

BEVERLY, MA — A Beverly Farms destination for breakfast, donuts and other delicious goodies is entering its final two weeks of retail operations in the city.

Kelly Mackin, an owner of Half Baked Cafe, posted in June that they would be closing up shop for good at 1 West Street "due to circumstances beyond our control" after nine years in Beverly as of Oct. 30.

"We have felt loved, supported, and want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this our forever home of the Half Baked Cafe," Mackin posted on June 6. "My family and my friends who dreamt this place up with me, my staff who became and still are my best friends.

"It's all so surreal."

The cafe has chronicled its final summer and fall in Beverly with weekly promotions and "last chance" opportunities to pick up one tasty treat or another.

But now months and weeks have turned into days with Half Baked open Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. for the next two weekends only.

Equipment is for sale with all purchases needing to be moved between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1.
