Beverly Man Arrested After Snatching Purse on River Street

The following is an excerpt from the log:
Friday, Sept. 7
- A vehicle was reported vandalized on Cox Court at 12:11 a.m.
- Police were dispatched to West Dane Street on report of a man yelling at 12:32 a.m. Police could not locate the person in question, but said it may have been people at the rear deck of Kitty O'Sheas.
- Police were dispatched to Hale Street at 2:04 a.m. on report of two suspicious women with flashlights. They were gone when police arrived.
- A was reported at 2:40 a.m.
- An assault was reported on River Street at 10:40 a.m., when a man attempted to snatch a purse from a woman on the street. Police arrested Jonathan Pasquarelli, 26, of 4 River St., on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person.
- A cell phone was reported stolen at Family Dollar at 4:36 p.m.
- Construction equipment was reported stolen on Tozer Road at 7:05 p.m.
- A domestic dispute was reported on Butman Street at 7:58 p.m.
- At 8:59 p.m. police arrested Gary Doane, 27, of 108 South Common St. in Lynn on charges of an open container violation, and Jonathan Jiminez, 31, of 1 Gove Ave., on charges of possession of a class b substance.
- A break-in was reported on Washington street at 10:31 p.m.
- A loud party was reported on Arlington Avenue at 11:50 p.m.

- At 12:50 a.m. police were called to Amherst Road on report of a woman hearing noises that she thought were tapping on her window. Police searched the area but did not find anyone.
- Police returned to Arlington Avenue at 1:38 a.m., subsequently arresting Tyler Freeman, 18, of 7 Arlington Ave., on charges of disorderly conduct, and Joshua Smith, 18, of 6 Littleton Ln. in Peabody, on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a counterfeit note.
- A loud party was reported on Silver Court at 1:43 a.m.
- At 3:45 a.m. police arrested Caylin Kerr, 21, of 19 Radcliff Rd., on charges of domestic assault and battery.
- Police were dispatched to Sohier Road at 12:14 p.m., on report of a man walking down the street in a hospital gown. The man told police he had just been released from the hospital, and was walking home.
- A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Cabot Street at 3:57 p.m.
- A neighbor dispute was reported on Memorial Drive at 5:28 p.m. According to police reports, the argument was over the placement of a picnic table on one of the party's property.
- Police were called to Hale Street on report of a woman 'falling in the street' at 8:10 p.m. Police said she told them she was walking home, and would not give them her name.
- At 8:27 p.m. police arrested David Silva, 43, of 72 Cabot St., on charges of disturbing the peace.
- A homeless man was reported sleeping in the lobby of a Rantoul Street apartment at 11:09 p.m. Police could not wake him, and he was transported to the hospital.
- A loud party on Essex Street was reported at 11:17 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 9
- A vehicle's tires were reported slashed on Taft Avenue at 8:33 a.m.
- Police were dispatched to Hale Street at 2:37 p.m. on report of a man stumbling in the road.
- An attempted break-in was reported at a Bow Street apartment at 7 p.m.
- Police were called to Grant Street at 7:45 p.m. on a noise complaint. Police said the TV was too loud, but the man watching it said he would not turn it down.
