Beverly Parking Subject of Public Meeting

A meeting on Feb. 2. will present the findings of a downtown Beverly parking study.

BEVERLY, MA – The city will present a report with recommendations for improving parking in downtown Beverly during a meeting on Feb 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates conducted a study on how downtown Beverly's existing parking has been utilized after the city hired them in early 2016. The firm is paid in park through a grant from the state's Department of Housing and Economic Development.

The meeting – hosted by Mayor Michael Cahill's office and the Planning Department – will present the firm's report and recommendations. The study included data collections, statistical research, information from public meetings, and interviews with city officials and other stakeholders.
