Beverly Public Library To Host Author Fair, Fix-It Clinic

More than 25 authors are expected for the May 18 fair that will feature a book sale.

BEVERLY, MA — More than two dozen North Shore writers are expected to attend next week's Beverly Public Library Local Author Fair.

The fair is set for May 18 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The authors will share their work: poetry, fiction, nonfiction, teen, and children's literature. There will be an opportunity to purchase books directly from the authors.

The library will also host a Fixit Clinic on June 7 from noon to 3 p.m. to gain help on simple repairs to salvage items that might otherwise be discarded.

Guided do-it-yourself disassembly, troubleshooting and repair will be offered at this free community event.

Residents can bring their broken item with all parts necessary to recreate the symptoms (carry-in only). Registration required. That event is sponsored by the Beverly Waste Reduction Committee.
