Beverly Route 128 Exit Ramp To Close Friday: MassDOT

The Sohier Road/Brimbal Avenue exit will be closed for drainage repair starting at 8 a.m.

BEVERLY, MA — A Beverly Route 128 exit will be closed starting late in the morning commute on Friday for drainage work.

The state Department of Transportation said Thursday night that the northbound Exit 46 ramp at Brimbal Avenue/Sohier Road will be closed starting at 8 a.m. until about 3 p.m.

Crews will be conducting drainage repairs and traffic will be detoured to exit 45B or exit 47 according to the direction of travel.

The work will consist of the repairing an existing drainage pipe and drainage structure. The work will be done under a district-wide drainage repair contract with Newport Construction, Inc.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
