Beverly's PARLEE Cycles Featured in New Joseph Gordon-Levitt Film

The staff of Beverly based , a leading builder of high-end road bicycles, were in for a thrill at the multiplex.

They were there to see one of their handcrafted bicycles prominently featured in the new Sony Pictures action thriller Premium Rush, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises).

“Naturally, we were excited to be involved with this project. It has been a long time since a major Hollywood film featured cycling.” says Tom Rodi, marketing manager for PARLEE.“For us, as cyclists, this is just really fun.”

The film was released nationwide August 24, and is currently being shown at the AMC Movie Theater in Danvers and SalemCinema. 

“It is a fun movie to watch," Rodi said. "Road cycling has blossomed in the last 15 years and seeing a major film with stars like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon released worldwide reinforces what we see every day with our dealers and clients…riding a road bike is simply one of the most fun and healthy activities you can do.”
