Beverly Sinkhole Emergency Repairs Force Rantoul Street Detour
While businesses in the area remain open, drivers are asked to explore alternate routes around the area on Wednesday.
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly crews worked on emergency repairs to Rantoul Street on Wednesday morning after a sinkhole developed near the intersection with Pleasant Street.
The city said that Department of Public Works crews were working on the sinkhole with a detour required for southbound traffic.
The city said that repairs were expected to take place throughout the day on Wednesday and be completed by the afternoon.
