Beverly Woman Named to Baker's Transition Team
Governor-elect Charlie Baker has selected a Beverly scientist to serve on his schools transition team.

A Beverly woman has been named to Gov.-elect Charlie Baker’s schools transition team.
On Thursday, Baker, of Swampscott, named dozens of members to his transition team, with specific teams focusing on jobs, schools, communities, health and better government,
Erika Ebbel Angle of Beverly, the chief executive and founder of Science From Scientists, has been named to the schools team. She founded Science From Scientists - whose goal is to have real-world scientists teach hands-on, lab-based lessons in the classroom - in 2002.

Angle also serves on the Massachusetts STEM Council Legislator Education Work Group and the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education STEM Advisory Council, according to her profile on the Science From Scientists website. She is also a member of the Endicott College Board of Trustees and Executive Committee.
On TV, she has appeared on Lifetime TV and Nova Science Now and is the host of her own show, “The Dr. Erika Show,” which is an educational science TV show for children.
