ICYMI: Beverly Woman Wins $1 Million
This lucky lady plans to pay off her student loans and treat her parents to a vacation.
BEVERLY, MA – With the winnings from her lottery ticket, Amy Knight will pay off her student loans, buy a new car, and treat her parents to a vacation.
Knight, a Beverly resident, purchased a winning $1 million prize ticket at Danvers Exxon Mart on High Street in Danvers. According to Mass Lottery, the store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
Knight chose the cash option, which results in fewer tax withholdings. The one-time payment will be $650,000. Knight's winning was announced on Oct. 26.
