BEVERLY, MA — Beverly High girls hockey player Jamie Dupont was selected as one of 29 players statewide honored as this year's recipients of the Boston Bruins/MIAA Sportsmanship Award.
Dupont was the lone member of the Northeastern Conference selected. She and the other boys and girls honorees were set to be recognized during Thursday night's Bruins game against the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden.
"Each high school student-athlete is selected for exemplifying a commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork and dedication both on and off the ice," the MIAA said.
