A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after a fall on Kernwood Ave., just after 9 a.m.
Initial scanner reports stated the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle traveling on Kernwood Avenue near the bridge, and had suffered serious injuries.
Police spokesman Dave Costa said there was no vehicle involved, but instead that the bicyclist fell when he hit the curb.
