Body Recovered Near Beverly Kernwood Bridge

BEVERLY, MA — The Beverly Fire Department recovered a body from the Danvers River between the Kernwood Bridge and Obear Park on Thursday.

Beverly fire said the person's identity had not been determined as of Thursday night.

The body, which was reported to be that of a woman, was found late Thursday morning.

The body was found three weeks after a dive team responded along with an extensive presence from Beverly police and fire crews to the area of the Essex Bridge on Jan. 15, according to Beverly police.
