Cabot Theater to Reopen Friday with New Owners
The Cabot Cinema Theater will now be known as "The Cabot" and has a slate of films and live music planned for the fall and early winter.

The Cabot Cinema Theatre will reopen Friday afternoon under new ownership and a new name, vowing to have “The Cabot” deliver “great live music, theater, dance, and film year-round.”
A renovation is planned during the next three years and afterward, the new owners expect to host 100,000 visitors with an annual economic impact of $5.8 million.
The theater had been owned since the late 1970s by White Horse Productions, which ran the theater and hosted Le Grand David and His Spectacular Magic Company.
