OVERVIEW
Nearly three years ago, generative AI arrived, challenging all of us (educators, students, and parents) to engage with a rapidly evolving technology with little insight into the role and impact it would have on education. While the promise of generative AI is significant, its pace of change and uncertainty around the cognitive impact on learners often makes its impact on learning feel like a perpetually moving target.

This event is designed to move beyond the headlines and help you understand what meaningful use of AI looks like in your child’s education. With a crucial balance of agency and healthy skepticism, our target is to identify both the risks and opportunities of the technology, while recognizing that we are early in both the maturity of the technology and the impact on teaching and learning.

Presented by Greg Kulowiec, founder of The Kulowiec Group, who speaks from the dual lens of a parent and an educator, the session is designed to help parents walk away with a practical understanding of the technology and improved strategies to have meaningful conversations around the technology at home.
