Calling All North Shore Youngsters To Take Their Best 'Hoop Shot'
The annual Beverly Salem Elks event for boys and girls ages 8 through 13 is this weekend.
BEVERLY, MA — Young North Shore sharpshooters will have a chance to show off their skills at this weekend's Beverly Salem Elks "Hoop Shot" basketball contest.
Players ages 8 through 13 are invited to take part in the annual event on Sunday at the Beverly School for the Deaf gym on Echo Avenue.
Players will be grouped by their age as of April 1 and proof of age must be provided.

The contest for 12 and 13-year-old boys and girls is at 9 a.m. The 10- and 11-year-old boys and girls contest is at 10 a.m. The 8- and 9-year-old boys and girls contest is at 11 a.m.
Prizes will go to winners in each category out of 20 shots.

Winners will have the chance to advance to district, state, regional and national finals.
