Celebrate New Year's Eve Early In Beverly
Beverly's legendary New Year celebration will be on Friday, Dec. 30, from 3 to 7 p.m.
BEVERLY, MA – Buttons are now on sale for Beverly's New Year, which will take place the day before New Year's Eve from 3 to 7 p.m. on Cabot Street.
The theme of this year's event is Pokemon, and will include a magic show, Curious Creatures, Teen Band Jam, juggling, balloons, games and prizes, arts and crafts, and the grand procession. The performers and games will be inspired by Pokemon.
The grand procession will begin at 6 p.m., and the Kids' Countdown beach ball drop will be at 6:45 p.m. at 248 Cabot St. At the end of the Kids' Countdowns, the beach balls and confetti will rain down on the crowd.

Regular price admission buttons are $8, and are available until Dec. 30, at Archer Insurance, Beverly Bank on Cabot Street, and the YMCAs on Cabot Street and the Sterling Center. The night of the event, buttons can be purchased at First Baptist Church and First Parish Church.
Outdoor events are free, indoor performances require a button, and kids ages 2 and younger can attend for free.

Cabot Street will be closed to traffic from Pond Street to Federal Street from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the night of the event. For more information, visit the Beverly Main Streets website.
