Child Fell Asleep On Beverly School Bus, Missed School Stop
Police responded to a report of a child briefly left on a school bus on Monday.

BEVERLY, MA – A school bus continued to its next route with a student asleep on board on Monday morning.
According to Beverly Superintendent Steven Hiersche, elementary school trips are first for bus drivers, and the bus went to do its next trip with the child still on board.
"The school notified the bus that the student hadn’t been dropped off, and the bus came back to the school," said Hiersche. The bus driver took the student back within 15 minutes.
