Police Called For Cookies, Candy Stolen From Nursery Street Home

The following is an excerpt from the log:
Tuesday, Sept. 11
- An intoxicated person was reported yelling at the corner of Cabot and Knowlton Street at 6:17 p.m.
- A break-in was reported on Nursery Street at 7:21 p.m. According to police reports, the resident reported a cookie had been stolen from the kitchen counter, and candy was also missing from a bag that was in the living room.
- Police were called to Elliott Street at 7:48 p.m. on report of a little girl crying near a trash barrell. Police checked on the child.

- A fight was reported on Ashland Street at 11:20 a.m.
- At 12:10 p.m. police arrested Vojin Krstanovic, 53, of 2 South St., was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of drugs, disorderly conduct, and marked lanes violation.
- A fight was reportedon Elliott Street at 4:37 p.m. They were gone when police arrived.
- People were reported fighting in a Grant Street back yard at 5:18 p.m. Police arrested Luis Rivera, 35, of 12 Grant St., on charges of disorderly conduct and threats to commit a crime.
- A purse was reported stolen from a Standley Street home at 7:41 p.m.
- At 8:47 p.m. police arrested Alexander Matton, 20, of 23 Simon St., on two warrant charges.
- A patient at a Essex Street nursing home was reported smoking marijuana at 10:20 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 13
- A GPS and iTouch were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Dartmouth Street at 6:59 a.m.
- A vehicle was reported stolen from a Amherst Road driveway at 8:53 a.m.
- At 12:05 p.m. police arrested Anthony Fessenden, 17, of 139 Park St., on charges of possession of a class c drug at Beverly High School.
- A domestic dispute was reported on Cabot Street at 12:49 a.m.
- Two females fighting were reported on Church Street at 4:12 p.m.
- At 8:52 p.m. police were called to the Salem/Beverly bridge on report of a man leaning over the rail. The man was just fishing.
Friday, Sept. 14

- Police were called to Quincy Park at 12:21 a.m. on report of two people trying to enter the house. Police reports stated they learned it was Meals on Wheels delivery people bringing food onto the porch.
- A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle on Mason Street at 1:34 a.m.
