Dalai Lama to Speak in Boston This Fall

The Tibetan leader will speak on educating the heart and mind in November.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet plans to hold a public talk in Boston later this fall.

The Tibetan Association of Boston will host the talk on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the TD Garden in Boston. The focus of the talk will be on “Educating the Heart & Mind,” according to an announcement Monday.

Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.com and can also be purchased by visiting the TD Garden box office.

The Dalai Lama, who took part in a Tibetan Association of Boston-hosted talk in 2009 that welcomed 13,000 attendees, is planning to give three religious teachings and public talks beginning in Alabama on Oct. 23 and ending in New York City on Nov. 4.
