Dennis Lee Cruikshank, 51, of Beverly passed away peacefully Aug. 16, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House with family at his side.
He was the son of the late John and Barbara (Ryder) Cruikshank. Dennis was a 1981 graduate of Beverly High School and later attended North Shore Community College.

He was employed by Salem Hospital. Dennis enjoyed boating, fishing, being with his family and his pet dog Teddy.
He leaves his three brothers, his twin brother Dana Cruikshank and his wife Sue of Lynnfield, John R. Cruikshank Jr. and his wife Priscilla of Malden and Glenn A. Cruikshank and his wife Patricia of Brookline N.H. Dennis was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant St., Danvers. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. at Mackey Funeral Home in Danvers will burial at Central Cemetery in Beverly.
