Final Block Party to Take on Octoberfest Theme on Saturday Night
A fall Block Party has been added this year and it will happen on Saturday night, Oct. 4 with an Octoberfest theme along Cabot Street.

The third and final block party of the year will take on an Octoberfest theme on Saturday night with food, music and drinks in downtown Beverly.
The party has been dubbed BLOCKtoberfest and will run from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Among the things that will give it an Octoberfest feel, there will be pumpkin beer, Bratwurst, Schnitzel and German Chocolate cupcakes.

After dark, there will be free glow necklaces at the Beverly Main Streets tent and you can have your picture taken in Oktoberfest hats.
The party is along Cabot Street between Pond and Federal streets and will also include Ellis Square with DJ Scott McQ spinning vinyl records from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

There will be three bands on stage at the Pond Street end of the party. At 5:30 p.m. The Riverside Project performs, Ross Livermore Band takes the stage at 7 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. Mad Yonder plays.
There is a suggested admission donation of $5 per adult and the first 500 people who pay the $5 will get a BLOCKtoberfest bottle opener. The donation is voluntary and you can attend even if you can’t pay $5.
Bring cash, since only cash will be accepted for donations, food and drink. If you want to drink, bring a Massachusetts ID. Pets, bicycles, skateboards and rollerblades will not be allowed and bags may be searched.

What food will be available?
- Atomic Cafe - German Chocolate cupcakes, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin spice coffee
- Barrel House - Schnitzel sandwich on pretzel roll (Schnitzel is a delicious fried pork cutlet served with mustard and pickles!)
- Bellamia - Gourmet chicken Parmesan sandwiches
- Fibber McGee’s - GBratwurst, freshly grilled steak tip subs
- La Victoria Taqueria - Burritos, platos and tortas
- Soma - Pizza with a variety of toppings
- Winfrey’s Fudge - Fresh fudge
- Salerno’s Italian Eatery - Beer including Bud Light, Sierra Nevada, Seasonal Pumpkin Beer and Hard Apple Cider
- Henry’s Wine Cellar - Wine including Sangria, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Chardonnay and Chianti
