Skateboarders acting unsafe, cars entered in the night, and more from the Beverly Police log.

  • Someone reported their car's glove compartment was found open with items strewn all around on Lovett Street last Tuesday morning around 7 a.m. The owner told officers it didn't seem anything was missing.
  • A loud bang in the area of Bridge and Ashton streets last Tuesday morning was found to be fireworks. Officers had the perpetrators dispose of the fireworks.
  • Dianne T. Reddy, 50, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of drunken driving on Wednesday around 3 p.m. in the area of Walnut Avenue.
  • Officers responded to Essex Street on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. on a report of skateboarders "acting unsafe," but there was no one in the area.
  • Police responded to a report of a neighbor dispute regarding a candy wrapper on Thursday around 4:30 p.m. on Elliott Street.
  • Someone reported a bullet found in a classroom at 550 Cabot St., the address of Shore Country Day School, on Thursday around 4 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of a man with a shotgun on the second floor of the MBTA garage on Rantoul Street on Friday around 9 a.m. Police found the man was a photographer working for Windover, and was not carrying any weapons.
  • Police responded to a report of a young boy "throwing rocks at people" in the area of Sohier Road on Saturday around 1:30 p.m.
  • Someone called police regarding a man with a baby carriage on McPherson Drive on Sunday after midnight. Police found a man decorating for the holiday.
  • Officers responded to a report of a man walking on Route 128 in the area of Exit 18. Police transported the man off of the highway.
  • Police took a report of a tenant going into another tenant's mail on Tuesday around 4 p.m. on Elliott Street.
  • Lance K. Janvrin III, 21, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, violating a city ordinance regarding knives, having an open container of alcohol, and following too closely after a car accident on Essex Street on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a noise complaint at Independence Park on Wednesday around 6 a.m. and found that it was an exercise group running the stairs and hill. The group agreed to quiet down.
