Forecasters: Light Snow May Create Slippery Spots for Evening Commute
Thursday evening commuters may encounter some slippery spots from the light snow that has been falling, according to the weather service.

The light snow that has been lingering on the North Shore all afternoon may cause slippery driving in Beverly during the Thursday evening commute as temperatures drop, warns the National Weather Service.
The weather service issued a special weather statement at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday saying that the falling snow may reduce the visibility for drivers. The “snow will cause slippery travel conditions for the evening commute,” the weather service said, adding any accumulation will be less than an inch.
No weather-related crashes had been reported in the area, as of 4:30 p.m.
