Beverly Garbage Truck Accident: No Injuries Reported

BEVERLY, MA – A JRM garbage truck driver drove out of the vehicle as it smashed through a fence, went over a ditch, and was stopped only by the foundation of a home on Echo Avenue on Monday morning.

The truck slipped down Overlook Avenue on the fresh snowfall that coated the steep incline, and went right through the intersection just before 8 a.m. Police say no injuries were reported.

The police report doesn't speak to the level of damage to the home, but notes that it is insured, and said the driver will not be cited.
