Kids Climb Billboard to Get Picture With Gronk

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police log:
Friday, Sept. 14
- Police issued a citation to a man who ran through a stop sign, almost hitting an unmarked cruiser, at 5:24 p.m. on Rantoul Street. When the officer asked why he was driving erratically, he told him 'he was in a hurry,' and that 'he was going to meet a lady.'
- A pool on Access Road was reported vandalized at 6:20 p.m.
- At 6:37 p.m. police arrested Miguel Peguero, of 3 Hilltop Dr., on warrant charges.
- A domestic dispute was reported in a Dodge Street parking lot at 7:58 p.m.
- A man was reported harrassing young girls on West Street at 9:24 p.m.
- Police were called to Swan Street on report of intoxicated people in the roadway at 11:29 p.m. Police advised them to leave.

- A fight was reported at Park and Creek Street at 12:10 a.m. One of the men involved was medflighted to Boston with injuries.
- Police were called to Bennett Street at 12:26 a.m. on report of someone trying to kick in a door. The person told police he/she lives there, and was trying to get inside.
- Police were called to Broughton Drive at 2:35 a.m. on report of a man trying to break in. Police searched the area but did not find anyone.
- Police were called to River Street at 8:19 p.m. on report of two kids climbing on a billboard. Police spoke to the youths, who said they were 'just trying to get a picture with Gronk.' Police sent the brothers on their way.
- Police were called to Hull Street at 10:59 p.m. on report of a 'shady man' who knocked on their door, asking for directions. Police searched the area but did not locate him.
- At 11:54 p.m. police arrested Derek Sullivan, 24, of 1 Brandt Cir., on charges of assault and battery.
Sunday, Sept. 16
- At 4:55 a.m. police arrested Jason Munroe, 30, of 718 The Heights in Gloucester, on charges of domestic assault and battery.
- At 11:35 p.m. police arrested Joyce Knowlton, 36, of 7 Beverly Commons Drive, on charges of shoplifting by asportation at Shaws.
- Two women were reported fighting at Salem Laundry Co. at 12:42 p.m. Police arrested Deborah Isaac, 45, of 114 Hale St., on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and threatening to commit a crime.
- A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Cabot Street at 5:48 p.m.
- Police were called to Ives Street at 6:01 p.m. on a noise complaint of the tenants speaking too loudly to one another. Police advised those speaking to loudly to put their hearing aids in.
- Police were called to Dane Street Beach at 10:07 p.m. on report of an armed robbery.
