BEVERLY—The following are highlights from the Beverly Police Department Logs from Aug. 27-28.

Sunday, Aug. 27

  • A table was stolen from the yard of 11 Winthrop Avenue.
  • Kids were reported hanging around a construction site at Rantoul Street. The group departed by the time police arrived.
  • Kids were reported on the train bridge near Federal Street and McPherson Drive. The group left as police arrived.
  • There was a report of fireworks on the train tracks at Essex Street and Parramatta Road.

Monday, Aug. 28

  • A domestic abuse situation was reported after noon at 39 Beckford Street between a father and a son. Three officers responded. There was possible past assault.
  • A woman reported her daughter's boyfriend would not leave her house at 5 Netherton Avenue.
  • Officers were called in when a woman on probation had her bracelet go off. There were issues with the charging station of the bracelet. Officers resolved the issue.
  • A vehicle side swept another on Rantoul Street. The woman admitted to officers that she did not check as she was pulling out of a parking space. A citation was issued.
  • A vehicle was stopped because of broken brake light. The driver had a suspended New Hampshire license, and a child was found without a seatbelt in the backseat.
