Malden Man Identified As Second Beverly Plane Crash Victim

The 28-year-old died on Monday from injuries suffered during the crash last Thursday.

BEVERLY, MA — The passenger in the Beverly single-engine plane crash last week, who died from his injuries on Monday, has been identified as a 28-year-old man from Malden.

The Essex County District Attorney's Office said Joseph Puciloski died four days after he was involved in the crash of a plane shortly after takeoff from Beverly Regional Airport. The 30-year-old pilot, Geoffrey Andrews, of Melrose, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Puciloski was Medflighted to an area hospital with what were described at the time as "serious injuries."

The pilot's family has since set up a GoFundMe page to support his widow and her upcoming motherhood.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was investigating the crash that involved a single-engine piston M20F aircraft.
