Man Arrested on Assault Charges

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:
Monday, Feb. 11

- An act of vandalism was reported on Cabot Street at 1:01 a.m. The person involved was summonsed to court.
- A domestic assault was reported on Cabot Street at 1:33 a.m. Police arrested Anthony Geyer, 21, of Broadway in Haverhill, on charges of domestic assault and battery and a violation of the city's knife ordinance.
- At 6:53 a.m. police were called to Blaine Avenue on report of a domestic dispute.
- At 4:13 p.m. police were called to Mechanic Street on report of a neighbor dispute over snow shoveling.
- Police were called to Park Street on report of a possible trash fire at 8:53 p.m. The building was searched by Beverly Fire, who determined there was no basis for the call.
- A pedestrian accident was reported on Rantoul Street at 8:55 p.m. The driver fled the scene.
- Two men were reported fighting at Beverly Common Drive at 10:13 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 12
- Police were called to Courtney Drive on report of a noise complaint. The person told police they were just getting the kids ready for school, and would quiet down.
- Several gun shots were reported in the area of Thoreau Cir. at 11:19 p.m
- A fight was reported on Story Avenue at 7:14 p.m.
- A vehicle was broken into on Piper Drive at 9:51 p.m.
- At 10:32 p.m. police were called to Dodge Street on report of snow removal bothering neighbors.
Wednesday, Feb. 13

- A gas run-off was reported at a Cabot Street station at 11:04 a.m.
- At 12:26 p.m. police were called to a road rage situation on Elliott Street. Police searched the area but the car was not found.
