Man Stabbed by Girlfriend, Beverly Woman Charged With Third OUI

The following is an excerpt from the Beverly Police Department:
Wednesday, Feb. 20
- At 12:08 p.m. police were called to Cabot Street on report of animal abuse. Anthony Geyer, 21, of 8 Roundy St., was arrested on charges of animal cruelty.
- At 12:40 p.m. a person in a wheelchair was struck by a vehicle on Elliott Street.
- At 2:26 p.m. police were called to Sohier Road on report of a resident in the hallway bothering his neighbors. Police reports said when they arrived, the man in question was sitting on a microwave and playing his guitar in the hallway in front of his door. When advised that he was bothering other residents, he said he was 'within his rights to make music'. The officer told him that he agreed, but that the hallway was a common area shared by all.
- A wallet was reported stolen while at Beverly Hospital at 6:03 p.m.
- At 10:40 p.m. police were called to River Street on report of two men looking into cars. Police arrested Zachary Risotti, 17, of 136 Oldshire Rd. in Marlborough, on two counts of breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony.

- Police were called to a Sohier Road at 8:59 a.m. on report of loud music that had been reportedly playing for more than an hour.
- Police were called to Elliott Street at 10:44 a.m. on report of a 'suspicious man in the area wearing a mask'. Police went to the scene, but the man was no longer in the area.
- Police were called to Washington Street at 1:18 p.m. on report of a woman asking for energy bills door-to-door. Police spoke to the woman, who turned out to be working for a company that is part of National Grid. Police advised her to seek a proper permit to solicit.
- Police were called to a Cabot Street business at 2:16 p.m. on report of a drunk person in the store. Gary Dentremont, 45, of 17 Cedar St., was arrested on two warrant charges.
- At 7:11 p.m. police were called to Arlington Street on report of a neighbor disturbance, where a person was reportedly banging on the door and throwing things.
- At 7:43 p.m. police were called to Herrick Street on report of a man who was reportedly stabbed by his girlfriend. Police arrested Michelle Ward, 39, of 71 Sohier Rd., on assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- At 11:46 p.m. police stopped a vehicle on Hale Street. Anne Rice, 59, of 66 Haskell St., was arrested for operating under the influence (third offense) and marked lanes violation.
Friday, Feb. 22
- At 1:57 a.m. police were called to Rantoul Street on report of a man sleeping in his vehicle. When police spoke to him, he said he was extremely exhuasted, so police transported him home.
- A champagne bottle was reportedly thrown through the back window of a vehicle on Parramatta Road at 6:30 a.m.
- A vehicle was reported stolen on Apple Road at 11:42 a.m.
