Motorcyclist Goes Airborne, Injured in Accident on Essex Street

Friday, July 5

  • An unwanted guest was reported on Cabot Street at 1:06 a.m. An ex-boyfriend showed up unexpectedly at a residence and was told to leave. 
  • A break-in was reported at Iverson Road at 6 :22 a.m. A rear sliding door was smashed to gain entry into the home. 
  • A break-in was reported on Pierce Avenue overnight at 7:10 a.m. 
  • A hit and run was reported at 9:47 a.m. on Enon Street. A woman reported the hit and run while she was parked on Haskell Street for the fireworks. 
  • A motor vehicle break-in was reported on Cabot Street at 10:28 a.m.
  • A man reported a stolen GPS unit after his car was broken into on Cabot Street at 11:54 a.m.
Saturday, July 6
  • At 10:48 p.m. a call reported a motorcycle that went airborne after it veered off the roadway and hit a sign on Essex Street. The motorcyclist was injured and transported to an area hospital.
