Murder Arrest in Saturday Night Shooting in Beverly
Justice Galarza charged with murder in connection with fatal shooting on Ropes Street.

Beverly, MA - A Beverly man has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting on Ropes Street in Beverly on Saturday night.
Justice Galarza, 19, of 28 Beckford Street, Beverly, is charged with murder in connection with a shooting death Saturday in Beverly, according to the Essex County District Attorney's office. He will be arraigned Monday in Salem District Court.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Beverly police responded to a shooting at 5-7 Ropes Street.

A 21-year-old male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest, was transported to Beverly Hospital and pronounced dead. The suspect - Gallarzo - later turned himself in to Salem Police. The victim's name is withheld pending family notification.
The shooting took place inside the residence and it appears that the parties were known to each other, according to the DA's office.
