November Arrests From the Beverly Police Log

Civil rights violation, undercover drug arrest, and other Beverly Police log items from Nov. 16 to Nov. 22.

  • Ronald D. Brown, 18, of Salem, was arrested on charges of distributing cocaine, distributing a class A drug, and threatening to commit a crime after an undercover buy on Wednesday, Nov. 16, round 6 p.m. on Elliott Street.
  • Ryan T. McCarthy, 28, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and a civil rights violation after a report of a road rage incident on Thursday morning on Elliott Street. Police say he used racial slurs against a black driver during the incident.
  • Devin James Nicolois, 19, of Beverly, was arrested on charges of trespassing and disturbing a school after a report of an unwanted man inside Beverly High School on Thursday around 2 p.m.
  • Officers had a group of people walking on Bartlett Street return the traffic cones they picked up Saturday around 2 a.m.
  • A woman was issued a citation for taking a left turn on a red light at Sohier Road on Saturday around 11 p.m. She told officers the light "takes forever" and that she didn't feel like being late for work.
  • Police responded to a call of loud music coming from a second floor apartment on Rantoul Street on Tuesday around 7 a.m. The woman "had difficulty grasping the fact that the music was too loud," because as she said, "she plays quality music."
