Plan Your Routes Around Beverly's Construction Schedule

BEVERLY, MA –Watch out for Elliott, Herrick, and Colon streets! Beverly is finishing up construction on projects in late October and November. Here's the schedule, according to the City of Beverly, with the projects affecting the roadway in bold:

Week of Oct. 24-Oct. 28:

• Tue: Finish installing curb at Herrick St and Colon St island
• Tue: Hydroseed behind sidewalk at 45 Rantoul St.
• Th-F: Set mast arm and ped poles and remove existing poles at School St.
• M-F: Pour sidewalks and driveways in the Phase 3 area. Also pave binder at driveways.
• M-W: Pulverize roadway, excavate and install gravel on Elliott St.
• W-Th: Fine grade and pave base and binder on Elliott St.
• Tue-F: Grade and pave binder at driveways in Phase 2 area.
• M-F: Install light conduit, bases and handholes in Phase 4A area.
• M-F: Install curb and grade sidewalks and driveways in Phase 4A area.

Week of Oct. 31-Nov. 4:

• M-Tue: Grade and pour sidewalk at Herrick St.
• W-Th: Extend railroad signal conduit to back of sidewalk at Colon St.
• F: Pour sidewalk and island at Colon St.
• M-Tue: Set mast arm and ped poles and remove existing poles at School St.
• W-Th: Grade sidewalks at School St.
• Th-F: Set brick pavers at Goldberg building.
• M-F: Grade and pour sidewalks and driveways in the Phase 3 area. Also pave binder at driveways.
• M-Tue: Install light conduit, bases and handholes in Phase 4A area.
• M-F: Install curb and grade sidewalks and driveways in Phase 4A area.
• W: Install drains at Post Office.

Week of Nov. 7-Nov. 11:

• M: Pour sidewalk at Colon St.
• M-W: Set brick pavers at Goldberg building.
• M-F: Grade and pour sidewalks and driveways in the Phase 3 area. Also pave binder at driveways.
• M-F: Grade sidewalks and driveways in Phase 4A area.
• M-F: Pour sidewalks and driveways in Phase 4A area.
• M-F: Set mast arm and PED poles and remove existing poles at Railroad Ave.
