Salem Sound Coastwatch 5K Set For Beverly Beach

The course starts and finishes at Dane Street, with ocean views along the way.

BEVERLY, MA — A family-friendly run and walk on the beach to benefit Salem Sound Coastwatch is set for Dane Beach in Beverly in June.

The 5-kilometer event will take place on June 8 with registration at 8 a.m. and the race beginning at 9.

The chip-timed event will include prizes in several categories.

Volunteers are needed for race day as well.

The entry fee is $40 now through June 5th. Registration includes a T-shirt until May 29.

This event benefits the Salem Sound Coastwatch, a local nonprofit environmental organization working for the past 35 years to protect and improve the environmental quality of Salem Sound and its watershed towns of Marblehead, Salem, Beverly, Peabody, Danvers, and Manchester.
