'Shameful' Amount of Voters At the Beverly Polls
A look at how many Beverly residents have voted so far in today's state primary.
As of 1 p.m., only about 1,360 Beverly residents have voted in today's state primary election.
Beverly Patch checked out each of the polling locations in the city between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., and the words used to describe the day by various polling volunteers included 'very slow,' 'crawling,' and 'shameful.'
Here's a look at the numbers by ward and precinct. As of 1 p.m., Ward 5 Precinct 1 had the most voters, at 155, while Ward 3 Precinct 2 had the lowest, at 76 voters.

In terms of campaigners, the lone sign-holder in Beverly was Tastebuds owner Jan Pellegrini, who was supporting Eileen Duff for Governor's Council.
